Pixel Art!
My journey with pixel art stems from the Super Nintendo games I played as a kid, specifically the stamp creator mode in Mario Paint. It really took off when I discovered Super Mario World rom hacking more than 15 years ago, which allowed for editing of the original game, including it’s graphics! As a young artist who dreamed of making games, I had to create my own. I’d spend hours creating tilesets and sprites, and I’ve been passionate about pixel art since!
My most recent pixel artwork is from a return to SMW rom hacking! It started as a passion project I’d work on in my spare time, wanting to create some sprites and tilesets for fun. I tested my skills with a 32x32 player sprite with extra animation frames, to see what I’m currently capable of!

Pictured are spritesheets of enemies, items and the player, as well as some levels using tilesets I created. I challenged myself with sticking to the Super Mario World artstyle while also giving it a fresh new look! Click them for a better view!
I was brought on to work on a Pokémon fangame as a pixel artist and created the sprites for a few of the game’s early creatures, including the three starter Pokémon! This was my first time creating pixel artwork in a team setting, and I had a great time working on it.

Who You Gonna Choose?
A selection of pixel art I made for a tumblr art blog! This is around the time I got into the Animal Crossing series, and some of the first pixel art I animated in Photoshop.

A bunch of pixel art I’ve done over the years, ranging from various fandoms and interests. The Undertale stuff in particular hit it big in the early days of the fandom. My sprites were even showing up on bootleg merch!
